What's different between silver plated and gold plated terminals?
To meet customers requirement of voltage and current, Dailywell provide silver plated and gold plated switch terminals for option.
Silver plated switch terminals can support larger voltages and currents to 5A 120VAC or 28VDC and can also reach 250VAC under 2A.
However, although gold plated terminals can only support 0.4VA MAX and the largest withstand voltage can only reach to maximum 20V (DC or AC), it is more stable and has better conduction capability, which is more excellent for the use of precision circuits.
The most important is, gold is anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion material so it can provide well protectection for the terminals.
That means gold plated terminals can not only prolong the storage, but also extend the life of switch under operating.
